As most of you know Cleo Lunsford left us in October of 2006 to work with her sister and take care of her aging parents. In late December she lost her mother. Please keep Cleo and her father in your thoughts. Cleo will continue to help us with classes and software on a needed basis.

VSC would like to welcome it newest member of the staff: Hazel Penick. Hazel comes from a long background of sewing experience and retail work. Please come by and meet Hazel and welcome her.

Come and join us. It doesn’t matter what brand of machine you have, we try to do something for everyone. This is a great opportunity to share our triumphs and creative challenges. We always have wonderful show-and-share as well as useful tips and techniques for embroidery. Join us! We meet the second Tuesday evening & Wednesday morning of every month. From the colors, to the techniques used, this stocking is anything but traditional. Baby Lock designed this project using techniques, like raised pin tucks, serger puffing using the ruffling foot, attaching exquisite ribbon using the taping foot and the cover stitch, and creating an elegant and unique look to fabric using a decorative chain stitch.
